This weekend I was told of an artist who boxes public trash in a shoe box size plexiglass and successfully sells it as art. My first thought was that it was Pet Rockish. If theres someone who will buy it, why wouldn't you sell it? Then I saw this trash around the city and thought that there is something interesting in the trash around us.

I hosted a contest in my home with the theme, "Street Art". Every Easter we have 40-50 people over and they love a new contest theme every year.
Your photos depict a good sample of what I saw being entered. It was alot of fun.
My suggestion is to take the photos to the "New"New York Museum and let them have at it!!...just their style!
i'm just glad "weekend trash" wasn't a picture of me.
